“Wait for the Lord” (Ps. 27:14). Waiting is a tough discipline in our digital and instant world. We hurry to execute our plans and agendas before inquiring from God, only to run into closed doors. We attempt to force those doors open through various means, but they do not budge. The waiting game with God has just begun. It is better to remain where you are no matter how long the waiting will take and move only after hearing clearly from God. God will open every door needed and carry you through, and you will succeed in what He has directed you to do. Asking God to approve our plans is the wrong approach. We must seek God’s face and get clearance from Him before embarking on any project; otherwise, we will fail woefully or ‘succeed’ miserably without God’s blessings. Some even force their way to get what they want through unrighteous means. Are you standing right now before closed doors? Has God put you on hold? Wait for God! Don’t move until you hear from Him.
