Since 2002, Rev. Dr. Stephen Awoniyi and his family have served ECWA in Louisville. At a point in time he was the ECWA USA DCC Secretary. About three weeks ago the Awoniyi children decided to relocate their parents to St. Louis Missouri because of heath challenges. Last Sunday June 14th an appreciation service was held in honor of the Awoniyis' as they plan to leave Louisville, KY this weekend. Several DCC representatives was in Louisville to acknowledge the diligent service of Rev. Awoniyi and to wish the family God's further blessings and healing visitation.
We appeal to all of you to continue praying for the Awoniyis' as they go through this difficult transition, knowing how Rev. Awoniyi loves to be in the church. You may also consider extending financial support to the family since they are now fully dependent on their children. Such supports may be sent either through the DCC (ECWA USA DCC, 2004 Oak Terrace Dr, Atlanta GA 30316) or through First ECWA Louisville, 5007 Southside Dr. Louisville KY 40214. May we not forget the labor of love of those who faithfully serve in our midst. Remain steadfast in your walk with the Lord.
