FOCUSING ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING FROM HOME AND FOREIGN MISSION FIELDS
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Ps 100:4-5. NIV
THURSDAY 1ST
We thank God for the success of the 1st Mission Week and the Mission Awareness that took place in Bwari DCC on the 22nd April, 2017 where many people committed themselves to support mission work through EMS .
FRIDAY 2ND
Thank God for the safety in transferring our new missionaries to their various mission stations. Also praise God for the progress of the regional projects in some of our mission stations and for the good health of our missionaries in the field.
SATURDAY 3RD
Praise God for the sacrificial donations from our supporters that has enabled the demonstration of God’s love to provide well water in the following mission fields in the Far North Region: Tsoro, Kokiya, Kwarin Tagwai in Kano DCC and Soro, Yartsamiya, Gidan Damo in Katsina DCC respectively. Also Praise God for the safe delivery of Mrs. Samaila Danlami our missionary in Katsina DCC.
SUNDAY 4TH
We thank God for the success of the medical outreach to the Donkin Hills and Gidan Yerima where many people gave their lives to Christ. Pray for their spiritual growth.

Continue to thank God for the support of our faithful numerous supporters that has enhanced God’s work through the ministry of EMS of ECWA in the midst of hardships and difficulties. Praise God for the number of souls that have come to Christ through different cell-groups in the Mid Central Region, by the witnessed of our EMS missionaries. Please pray for their spiritual growth.
TUESDAY 6TH
Thank God for His grace over the lives of our missionaries in the South East Region. Praise God for the ministry open door that has resulted to the creation of the new prayer house at Ntezi.

WEDNESDAY 7TH
MISSIONARIES ON TRAINING: Pray for our missionaries who are currently going through summer studies for understanding, provision of school fees and success in their studies.
THURSDAY 8TH
MISSION WEEK: Pray for faithful remittance of the 2017 1st Mission Week, and for the 2016 arrears yet to be remitted to EMS by some ECWA DCCs.
FRIDAY 9TH
CENTRAL REGION GARKI: We thank God for saving the life of our Missionary, Rev. Asabar Hussaini, who had a motorcycle accident when returning from an outreach in Pyakasa. Continue to pray for his speedy recovery.
SATURDAY 10TH
SOUTH NORTH EAST-JALINGO: Pray for peace in Taraba State especially Takum and Ussa Local Government Areas where there are Fulani’s attacks. Also pray for God to provide ₦2m only to complete the EMS Coordinator’s house project in the region.
SUNDAY 11TH
MID-EAST REGION-LAFIA: Pray for the 3,227 people witness to and the 226 that came to accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior in this region.
MONDAY 12TH
NORTH – EAST REGION-GOMBE: Pray for the spiritual and physical growth of the Prayer House at Ganjig Gas that was given autonomy in Waja DCC in the month of April, 2017, also for God’s healing upon Rev. & Mrs. Ali Usaman’s daughter in Waja DCC, who is sick and has been hospitalized.

• Let’s pray for the spiritual and physical growth of 436 new converts in the region that came to know the Lord Jesus Christ for the first time in the month of April, 2017.
• Prayer for Hajaratu Philemon, the wife of the Regional Coordinator for God’s healing upon her, pray for Rev. Ibrahim Ma’aji Bauchi DCC Coordinator who had an accident with motorcycle for God’s healing.
• Also pray for God’s provision of motorcycles to the following EMS DCCs’ Coordinators for effective work: Miango, Zagun, Gwol, Mangu and Yelwa.

MID CENTRAL REGION – KAGORO: Thieves broke into Pastor Janathan Woje’s house in Zonkwa DCC in the night and took his motorcycle, Pray that the Lord will provide another one and convict the thieves to repent and to give their lives to Christ.

SOUTH EAST REGION – UMUAHIA:
• Pray for the provision of funds to sink a borehole for the Ntezi community.
• Enugu DCC lost one of their key supporters in the person of Elder J.C Agbro. Pray for God’s comfort for the family and the entire DCC.
• 12 missionaries now are needed in the region. Pray that God will provide missionaries for the region.

• Pray for Pst. Haruna in Kaduna South DCC that is under the threads of the kidnappers for God’s continuous protection.

• Pray for God’s continuous provision for our supporters in Kaduna, especially those who have not remitted their support for their missionaries’ salaries.

• Pray for good health for all our missionaries in the region.
• Pray for new converts in the region for spiritual growth.
• Pray for Rev. Ishaku Yohanna who lost his wife Ruth (as a result of snake bite) on the 25th April, 2017 in active service for God’s comfort for him and the family in a special way.

FAR NORTH – MALUMFASHI: Pray for God’s healing on Rev. Bature Nomau’s son, who had a fracture through motorcycle accident. Ask God to provide the roofing materials for the various building projects in the Region.

EMS SPORT UNIT:
• Pray for our Regional Coordinators, DCC Coordinators and the missionaries serving in the fields to use sport as a means of evangelism to bring many souls to Christ.
• Pray for the spiritual and physical growth of our new converts gotten through the Sport Ministry. Also pray for those that rededicated their lives and those who are going through discipleship that God will reveal Himself more and more to them.
• Pray for those who went through the Sports Ministry Basic Training, which took place from 17th – 22nd, April, 2017 at EMS Children School Jos; that they will use the skills acquired to be effective in evangelism and church planting.

• Pray for Rev. Ayuba Kukwi who is on his annual leave that God will protect him and refresh him throughout the period. Pray for Rev. Benjamin Baba who is standing for him that God will give him wisdom.
• Pray for Mariam, one of our girl that graduated from the ministry and is planning to get married this year 2017, that God will grand her success.

INAUGURATION OF ZAMBIA & MALAWI:
• EMS is trusting God for the inauguration of ECWA Zambia and Malawi by October 2017 God’s willing. Pray along with us as we put things in order to make this a reality.

BENIN REPUBLIC:
• Pray for God’s healing and good health upon Rev. & Mrs. Alfred Sodji who are facing health challenges.
• Pray for God's provision for the purchase of land for the second Church in Cotonou, Benin Republic and for God to provide the needed resources for the building of ECWA Fidjrosse Church in Cotonou, Benin Republic. The Church present place of worship cannot longer content the membership.
• Pray for the progress of the mission work at Porto Novo field, in Benin Republic and for God to provide a temporally place of worship as well as the Church land.
• Pray for the couple (Mr. & Mrs. Sunday and family) who are taking care of the Porto Novo mission field for God's provision and divine protection upon their lives.
• Pray for Rev. Sodji who is always on the way to Porto to make sure that things take off in a good shape.
• Pray for God's divine healing and total deliverance upon the wife of Rev. Amos Olugbenga and also bless them with the fruit of the womb.

• Pray for Rev.& Mrs. Ishaku Amah-kabong for effective prison ministry, speed understanding in their language learning, and his educational activities to target the communities with the Gospel.
• Pray for Malian, a woman prison inmate who was witnessed to by Mrs. Amah and is requesting for an extension of her prison term so she could be discipled by the Missionaries. Pray that God will lead her to the Missionaries or vice versa so that this woman can be properly disciple.

• Pray for the success of the campus ministry amongst University Students -Fellowship of Christian Students- FCS (Scripture Union).
• Pray that God will help the members of the 1st ECWA Maradi to be committed in their relationship to Christ in Niger Republic; also for God to continue to bless and cause them to succeed in their studies.

MISSIONARY KIDS AROUND THE WORLD:: In line with 2 Timothy 2:22 (“Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart”) Pray that Missionary Kids all over the world would flee from evil desires and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, and joy to accompany them in their pursue for live.
