WEEK ONE-FOCUS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING
“Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever”. Psalm 106:1
 
SATURDAY 1ST
Thank God for His sustaining Grace and mercy on EMS/ECWA, and Nigeria as a nation these past nine months. Worship Him for lunching Nigeria into its 56th year of independence.

SUNDAY 2ND
Ask God to help you live your life completely in total dependence on Him and also help you to grow in righteousness every day. Also pray that as EMS Sunday is been observed today nationwide, may the hearts of all be steered to give generously towards the propagation of the gospel of Christ through EMS and that all church leaders and Pastors will be burdened of God not to hold back any collection that is meant for this purpose.
NOTE:  WE ARE FASTING TOMORROW
First (1st) Monday of every month is to be observed nationally and internationally as ems prayer and fasting day. Therefore, all ems arms, missionaries, office staff, prayer partners and supporters should please endeavor to join the ems international head office in prayers. As we join faith and trust god in one accord with brethren around the world for a steady and a fruitful growth of the kingdom of god, peace and the salvation of nations, for revival and spiritual growth of the church. Our cooperate prayer time at the head office, is 8-9am, 12-1pm, and 4-5pm respectively. You can join us in prayers wherever you may be at those times or make out time of your own convenience as you are led to by god. Please. Just be sure to pray along as you fast.
MONDAY 3RD
Praise God for the success of Programs held in the month of September by EMS missionaries in various mission Fields across the country and abroad. Worship Him for the bountiful Harvest of about 1,130 Souls recorded through these Programs. Also ask the Lord to sustain them in faith.
 
TUESDAY 4TH
The long planed Akwanga DCC (Mideast Region) and Aba DCC (South East region) mission awareness and supporters forum has come and gone with amazing tune up of supporters.  Praise  God  for  the  safe  trip  granted  to  officials  from  the  Head  Office  in  Jos  to Akwanga and to Aba respectively, and for missionaries and supporters who traveled to attend the awareness. Despite the increasing economic challenges in Nigeria, to the glory of God, we still have more people who are indicating interest to be part of what God is doing through EMS. Pray for God’s increasing blessings on all our partners and for God’s grace on all the new partners for them to be able fulfil their pledges.
 
WEDNESDAY 5TH
Bagaji EMS mission station in Keffi, Mid East Region Nigeria was faced with the challenged of a Church Land dispute for quite some time now. Praise God for intervening in the situation. The dispute has been settled.
 
THURSDAY 6TH
Praise God for success of the Leadership seminar that was held in ECWA Togo and for the fruitful outreach held in Ganoua community in Cameroon.
 
FRIDAY 7TH
A good number of EMS mission stations in Nigeria are vulnerable to Fulani herdsmen’s attacks in recent times. Praise God for the testimonies of God’s divine intervention amidst this trials. Ask the Lord to keep protecting our missionaries, shielding their families and their members.
 
SATURDAY 8TH
Praise God for the provision of motor bikes for two missionaries in shongom, South North East Region through their supporters. Ask the Lord to bless the donors. Also pray for more of such openings as many EMS missionaries are in dire need of mobility to enable them work effectively.
WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE AND HOME MISSION FIELDS
“Those who manifest wisdom will shine like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars for ever and ever”. Daniel 12:3
SUNDAY 9TH
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE STAFF
  • Pray for wisdom for staff to develop the right resources at the time for the right things.
  • Pray that staff will hear the Lord, have fresh passion for what the Lord want done on each day as entrusted to EMS’s mandate.
MONDAY  10TH
NORTHWEST REGION: Ask the Lord to intervene in Nigerian dwindling Economy; also pray for God’s intervention in respect to the retrenchment that is ongoing in Kaduna state as a good number of Christians are affected alongside some of EMS supporters.
 
TUESDAY 11TH
SOUTH EAST: Ask the Lord to endow Rev. Paul C. Egema the new Umahia DCC coordinator with wisdom and enabling grace as he coordinates EMS mission activities in this District.
 
WEDNESDAY 12TH
EMS MIDICAL UNIT: Pray for God’s healing on the following missionaries working in the Far North West Region of Nigeria: Pas. Mamuda Musa, Pas. Luka Karam, Pas. Bitrus Musa, and for all missionaries surfing from one ill health and another. Also ask the Lord to comfort the family of Pas. Bindam Bindia in the North Central Region and all EMS families that are bereaved.
 
THURSDAY 13TH
EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELDS SCHOOLS
:
  • Praise God for the successful completion of the long break both staff and students had. Pray that the new 2016/2017 academic session will be a fruitful one for pupils,students and staff alike.
  • Ask the Lord to make provisions for more missionary teachers to be added to the schools to ensure a reasonable ration of students per teacher and for parents to be able to pay their children’s fees.
  • Also pray for God’s grace on new students in all the schools for them to acclimatize to their new school environment.
FRIDAY 14TH
EMS MISSIONARY KIDS
:
  • Pray that EMS missionary parents will make their children feel a part of their ministry; thatparentsofEMKswillprovidetheloveandattentiontheirchildrenneed;that parents will balance ministry and family needs; that the EMKs will learn the value of the parents’ ministry;that parents (especially fathers) will spend quality time with each child one-on-one and with the family alone.
 
SATURDAY 15TH
MIDEAST REGION: Pray for God’s provision of finance and beulding materials for EMS mission stations at; Oju, Sabon Gora, Amushe, Pankore, Bango,   Kube, Dumale, Pasheni Kukyer, Kuchimi and other mission stations within and outside the country having the same needs.
WEEK THREE – FOCUS ON CROSS BOARDERS MISSION FIELDS
"I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” Luke 4:43-44 NIV
SUNDAY 16TH
CROSS BOARDERS CRITICAL NEED
: EMS Is still trusting God for the sum of about N300M that is urgently needed for various critical cross borders projects. Let’s not relent in praying for this need.
 
MONDAY 17TH
CAMEROON
: Pray for Yaoundé Mission field for God's provision of 40,000F to enable us rent a place of worship.
    Pray for God's provision for the construction of ECWA Douala Church.
    Pray for EMS Cameroon National Coordinator for God's divine protection as he moves around to visit Missionaries in different fields.
 
TUESDAY 18TH
ZAMBIA
:As the Church grows Rev. Yusuf Kuzasuwat the EMS missionary to Zambia with his family are experiencing God's special grace. In the quest for desiring God, for families and individuals coming from distance to their home on Saturdays in order to sleep for the purpose of attending church service on Sundays. That poses a challenge for them of feeding them and providing other necessities; bearing in mind that economically they are equally passing through difficult moments. But they continue to trust God. Ask that He (God) meet their enormous needs which include children school fees, daily needs of food and helping their members who come to them with diverse needs.
 
WEDNESDAY 19TH
REPUBLIC OF
TOGO: A Muslim woman accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior in Oke mission field of Togoafterherdeliverancefromwitchcraft.Praythatshewillgrowinfaithassheisbeing followed up by Pas.Komlan.
 
THURSDAY 20TH
MALI
:
  • Let’s keep praying for Pastor & Mrs. Amah who are trusting God for some educational material (ACE) if possible, to enable them handle the formal English/Discipleship school program.
  • Pray for The 250,000 FCFA, urgently needed for the development of ECWA Bamako and for the purchase of chairs for worship.
FRIDAY 21ST
U.S.A/ U.K
: Praise God for the success of the 2016 ECWA UK Conference and for safety granted to Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Gado, the ECWA president and Rev. Panya Baba Stephen, the EMS Cross Borders Coordinator who attended the conference in London. Ask the Lord to sustain the work of ECWA in U.K and USA.
 
SATURDAY 22ND
GHANA
:
  • Let’s keep Praying for the Ghana Church land recovery, ask the Lord to favor the Church beforethecourt.AlsoprayfortherecoveryofrentpaymentfromtheLandLordwhotook advantage of our missionary which is equally in the court at themoment.
  • All plans are set for Pastor & Mrs. Benjamin Nadabo to start a mission school in Zenu for the children in the community. For the mean time, they are trusting God for N1.5m to pay for the rented property for two years. Pray for God’s provision towards meeting this need.
WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON THE NATIONS, HOME, CHURCH GROWTH AND REVIVAL
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” (Acts 3:19).
SUNDAY 23RD
CHURCH LEADERS
: Ask God, to grant our pastors and leaders the ability to stand firm for Him. Pray that He Surround our pastors and leaders with men and women who's hearts are trustworthy, who walk with integrity, and who are continually thankful for their own salvation.
 
MONDAY 24TH
CHRISTIAN HOMES
: Ask God, to perfect us with love, that we may conquer all selfishness and hatred; Fill our hearts with His joy, And shed in us His peace which passeth understanding; so that those murmurings and disputing to which we are too prone may be overcome. Pray that He Make us long-suffering and gentle, and thus subdue our hastiness and angry tempers, And grant that we may bring forth the blessed fruits of the Spirit, of His praise and glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
 
TUESDAY 25TH
NATIONS OF THE WORLD
: Our Father and Our God, we praise God for His goodness to the nations of the world, for giving us blessings far beyond what we deserve. Yet we know all is not right with us. We deeply need a moral and spiritual renewal to help us meet the many problems we face. Ask the Lord to convict us of sin. Help us to turn to Him in repentance and faith. Set our feet on the path of His righteousness and peace. Ask that God would give every nation’s leader the wisdom to know what is right, and the courage to do it.
 
WEDNESDAY 26TH
NIGERIA
: Pray for honesty and fair trading, and for righteous acts that bring about economic  recovery. (1Tim.6:10)
 
THURSDAY 27TH
PRAYER FOR ISLAMIC MILITANTS
    Pray for an awakening in their conscience to turn from their evil ways and to seek the Truth.
    Pray that God would sovereignly destroys their plans and produces in them a hunger after His true character.
    Pray for Christians to portray authentic Christian conduct towards Muslims.
 
FRIDAY 28TH
PRAYER FOR MUSLIMS
: As Muslims meet around the world for Friday Prayers:
  • Pray for more Muslims to have encounters with Jesus in their meeting places, through dreams and visions.
  • Pray that the message of Jesus would be accessible, even in remote places where Christian workers can’t go. Pray for Christian websites, satellite TV programs and radio programs to be available to all Muslims and make a lasting impact on visitors, viewers and listeners.
SATURDAY 29TH
REV.STEPHEN PANYA BAB
A: Thank God for the life and family of Rev. Stephen Panya Baba the EMS Cross border coordinator. Pray that the Lord would increase upon him the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in this capacity. Also pray for God’s protection and provision for his family.
 
SUNDAY 30TH
REV. JOSHUA YAKUBU
: Thank God for the life and family of Rev. Joshua Yakubu the EMS Francophone coordinator. Pray that the Lord would increase upon him the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in this capacity. Also pray for God’s protection and provision for his family.
 
MONDAY 31TH
REV.SAMAILA JAFUN
: Thank God for the life and family of Rev. Samaila Jafun, the EMS Anglophone coordinator. Pray that the Lord would increase upon him the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in this capacity. Also pray for God’s protection and provision for his family.
